We held London’s first OrganiCity Open Call Clinic at the Urban Innovation Centre on 24th May, with partners Imperial College and Intel.
The clinic offered experimenters face-to-face assistance with the open call application process and networking opportunities for those looking to collaborate. The event was well attended, with more than 40 registrants from across the city.
The evening opened with a brief introduction to OrganiCity and the project’s progress so far and then invited questions regarding the OrganiCity platform, tools and open call process. Networking activities throughout the evening also gave participants the chance to meet and discuss their experiments with others in our community.

We expect to publish the results for the first deadline at the end of August. News will follow about the second and third deadlines.
Yes. Local projects are very much a part of OrganiCity – and who knows, perhaps a good idea for London might one day be a good idea elsewhere.
