The Alexandra Institute is co-organising the workshop IoT as driver for the co-created Smart City, as part of the 2016 IEEE 3rd World Forum on Internet of Things – a unique event for industry leaders, academics and decision making government officials to discuss key critical innovations across technologies.
CALL FOR PAPERS
We seek contributions for the workshop on how to nurture and cultivate IoT technologies and applications for the benefit of society.
The technical/societal topics of the workshop IoT as driver for the co-created Smart City include, but are not limited to:
The format of the workshop will be to present different views on co-creation and citizen driven IoT development in smart cities. The aim is to develop a joint understanding of common success stories and differences based on regional and cultural differences and approaches. Emphasis will be put on how to enable citizens, and primarily makers, to utilise IoT tools and infrastructures.
