TRAFFIC FLOW

The TrafficFlow sensor we installed two weeks ago at the Open Data Institute in London has already provided interesting data. In fact, it seems that pedestrians’ and vehicles’ flows have opposite pattern along the week! Look at the plots for Worship Street. Pedestrians flow (top row) is high on monday to friday, and low in the weekend. Conversely, vehicles flow (middle and bottom row) is higher in the weekend, and particularly in the late evening. Londoners’ nightlife?

SPEND NETWORK

This week things have been looking up. We’ve resolved our issues with the help of the tech team and our problems with the API are over!
We’ve been able to insert assets through the API, including tender data and geolocations. We have planned a few tweaks to the script that will allow us to upload a whole load more so we can begin work on the Tinkerspace app. We hope to begin early testing by the end of next week.
We’re still looking for anyone who would like to help us with this testing. We’re happy to return the favour and test your outputs too.

MY CITY BEAUTY

MyCityBeauty app is ready with all planed features. User manual available. Users ready. The only concern is that the account is limited on 1000 assets (photos). Anyway, it should be enough for testing our data-driven co-creation process: people are triggered by data to move physically. Our solution “transforms” data in physical actions.
