Pre-announcement of the 1st OrganiCity open-call to local SMEs and entrepreneurs in Santander
The Mayor of Santander and the Chancellor of the University of Cantabria participated in a meeting with local SME representatives and entrepreneurs last Friday 15th at Palacio de la Magdalena, one of the most emblematic buildings in the city.
During the event, the 1st OrganiCity open-call was pre-announced and the main details and requirements for the expected experiments were explained to the most innovative local SMEs and entrepreneurs, invited to the event.
Also, the benefits for Santander’s citizens and the opportunities for innovative companies in the Smart City context were detailed. In this sense, Organicity reaffirms the compromise of the city in enhancing the Smart City dimension and strengthens the idea of Santander as an urban lab for developing revolutionary and creative ideas for business.
During the event, the award of the 1st Santander OrganiCity Instagram contest was presented to its winner, Jesús Mazón, by the Santander’s Councillor of Employment and Local Development, the Chancellor of the University of Cantabria and TST’s Operations Manager.
