OrganiCity Technical Team Meeting

The OrganiCity team met together at its first technical workshop, celebrated the 25th and 26th of June at the University of Cantabria, in the city of Santander. During these two days, the different partners of the project had the opportunity to share their perspectives to build a common understanding of the user journey through the Experimentation as a Service (EaaS) process.

Interesting conclusions were reached in a constructive atmosphere, in both main tracks: Citizen Engagement and Technical Architecture.

“One of the main takeaways from the Santander meeting was that it’s incredibly helpful to have perspectives from the entire team, even if the main focus is the technical architecture. Without cross-pollination, the engagement process would be tending towards handwaving, and the architecture would run the risk of missing its mark in terms of usefulness and usability for the experimenting communities”,concluded Martin Brynskov, associate professor at Aarhus University and coordinator of the project.
